Thursday Thanks ::: 6 :::

This week has been one of those touch and go weeks. Just when I think I have had enough, something great happens, and it lifts me right back up.

I am thankful for:

• friends that love fitness, makes it easier (and more fun) to stay in shape for sure

• an understanding landlord

• music, especially NPR and KCRW, they get me through it all when I am home working alone

Thursday Thanks :::4:::

It’s been a while since I’ve done my Thursday Thanks post and never a better time than the present to get back on that horse.

This week I am so thankful for so many things. I will limit it to 3 this week.

1. For wonderful freelance clients and a promising new path in my career.

2. For amazing friends and family who support me through it all.

3. For living near the ocean in Southern California, it always provides boundless inspiration and joy.

What are you thankful for lately?

Thursday Thanks ::: 3 :::

Oh gosh! I almost forgot to do my Thursday Thanks…. again! But I remembered.

So, this week, I am most thankful for having great connections and resources. I have been super proactive this week and am seeing some real results. Yay!

And last but not least, thanks to my weekly Otis Letterpress class. It’s a fun group and I am learning a great new skill. Tonight I can’t decide what to print, more metal type or go digital for the first time? And then, the Real question is: where will a press fit in my apartment…??? Hmmmm….

I know we have all heard of the Grateful Journal. And I do try to be grateful in my daily life. But I read something the other day in Health magazine that said that if you write some thing you are grateful for once a week for at least nine weeks, then you are more likely to be happier, healthier and even exercise more. Well I already exercise 6 days a week on average, but who wouldn’t want to be happier!

So, I am taking on my first ever weekly post. Every 4th day of the work week I will do a “Thursday Thanks” post, with at least one thing I am grateful for.

For this inaugural post I am most thankful for my sweaty lunches. Today I went on a 13 mile bike ride along the beach. I mean how can you not be grateful for a place of work that lets you get your sweat on in the middle of the day! Love it!
